In order for a Boerboel to receive a registration, you will need to present your dog for appraisal. An appraisal is the process by which the NABBA reviews the individual South African Boerboel and compairs it to the breed standard. Each dog is assessed independently on how that particular Boerboel meets each point and is NOT compaired to other Boerboels. With an appraisal, each dog stands on its own merit as to how it conforms to the breed standard.
